Steak and Cheese Sandwiches
Ingredients:
- Beef: Any cut (we usually buy a large portion and cut it into steaks)
- 1 Green Pepper
- 1 Onion
- Cheese: Your choice (use what you have on hand)
- Sub Rolls: Store-bought or homemade
- Spices: Black pepper, meat tenderizer, garlic powder, and a small amount of Italian seasoning
- Olive Oil: Or any oil of your choice

Prepare the Ingredients:
- Cut the beef into thin strips.
- Slice the green pepper and onion.

Cook the Beef:
- Heat a splash of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the beef strips to the skillet.
- Season the beef directly in the pan with black pepper, meat tenderizer, garlic powder, and a small amount of Italian seasoning.
- Cook the beef until it is browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Vegetables:
- In the same skillet, add another splash of olive oil if needed.
- Add the sliced green pepper and onion, sautéing until tender and slightly caramelized.

Assemble the Sandwiches:
- Split the sub rolls.
- Layer the cooked beef, sautéed vegetables, and cheese inside the rolls.

Melt the Cheese:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the assembled sandwiches on a baking sheet.
- Put them in the oven for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sandwiches are heated.
