Hello friends! 👋
Winter is fast approaching here in Northern Maine, and you know exactly what that means: time to get the house ready for the long, cold months ahead. Today I’m going to be sharing with you a behind-the-scenes look as we get everything ready to stay warm and cozy through the freezing winter weather.
This video follows us as we take delivery of an enormous 2,000 pounds of pellets. That’s right, 2,000 pounds! This will keep us warm as we face the frigid months ahead. Afterward, I attend to some much-needed outdoor maintenance: scraping and painting the window frames to make sure the house stays in the best condition, even through the toughest winter storms. 🏠 Once everything is done outside, I change pace and go inside to do some chores. First things first: dishes! Then, I take a short walk to the store to get a couple of necessities. It’s always nice to get a little leg stretching, even if it is for groceries.
And, of course, I have to make sure I refill my coffee stash; you all know how crucial that is in surviving the cold! ☕️😉😆
Hope you enjoy the day with me preparing for the season. If you enjoy realistic homemaker videos like this one, don’t forget to thumb up this video and subscribe for more below. 💕 Check out the full video above, and be sure to let me know in the comments how you are prepping your home for winter!
